Below are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and their answers:

1.  Why is Sheffield U3A using this Wild Apricot members management system?

2.   How do I access my personal profile - e.g. in order to renew membership or to alter my address details etc?
Ans:  Click on your name that is shown next to the "change password" and "logout" link in small blue font near the top right hand corner of the screen.  This will take you to "personal information" screens.  You can click on "Edit" in order to update your details, or you can click on the "Renew until 01 Jan 2016" in order to renew your membership.  (Please do not click on the renew button if it says Renew until 01 Jan 2022.  If it states 01 Jan 2022, then you have already renewed for 2021!).
If you click on "My directory profile", then you will see the information that is visible to members of your SU3A groups.  (The information will not be visible to members who are not in one of your groups.)
You can create your own Photo Albums.  Wild Apricot state that you can have an unlimited number of photos in your personal Photo Album - but please limit photos to those that will be of interest to other members of your SU3A groups. 
 
3.   Will we still have new membership numbers every year?
Ans: Yes as this is an easy way for organisers of some activities and events to check that everyone involved is a current member.
 
4.   Will other members be able to see my contact details?
Ans: No, only the website administrators and you can see those.
 
5.   Will other members be able to see my email address?
Ans: No, but they can send you an email from the website.
 
6.   Is it possible to send group emails from the website?
Ans: The administrators can do this but it is not possible for ordinary members.
 
7.   Are my financial details secure?
Ans: Your financial details, such as credit card number, are not kept or managed by the website. The management of this is done by Stripe - a company that has very high security measures in place.

8.   Who do I contact if I am shown as belonging to a group that I do not belong to?
Ans: please contact grouprecords@su3a.org.uk and we will remove your name from the group list.

9.   Who do I contact if I am a member of a group but not shown on the list for that group?
Ans: please contact your group coordinator who can ask for your name to be added. Group coordinators are responsible for group membership so additions have to be made through them.
